My YouTube gear
What I actually film with.
I filmed with a Logitech C920 webcam for the longest time, and it worked great for my screen-share tutorials. I could be seen, I could be heard, and it was all good. When I started making different kinds of YouTube videos, I upgraded my camera. But honestly? Your audio is so, so important. Start with a good mic.

Elgato Prompter
I’d never used a teleprompter before this, and my goodness, it makes filming so much easier. I love to freestyle, and you don’t need one when you’re just starting out. But dang, is it great.

6 ft USB Cables (2 pack)
My cords run under my desk, and the ones my gear came with were too short. These fit the bill, and they weren’t too expensive.
